Learn First Aid Course with RMS Training.
A 1-day Accredited First Aid Course, providing a sound general grounding in first aid. The course covers essential skills required to administer first aid to a victim of accident, injury or any life threatening situation.  
This course will require the completion of online content prior to completing the practical training at RMS premises.

Course Content:

  • The course covers the following areas:

  • Expired Air Resuscitation

  • Emergency Procedures

  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR

  • Bandaging

  • Heart Conditions

  • Airway Management

  • Burns Management

  • Fracture Management

  • Unconsciousness

  • Diabetes

  • Head Injuries/Spinal Injuries

  • Epilepsy

  • Poisons, Bites & Stings

  • Stroke

  • Soft Tissue Injury Management

HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Course Duration: Instructor led training - 1 day (8am-4.30pm)

RMS Entry Requirements:

  • 18 years old

  • Sound verbal and written comprehension of the English language is mandatory

  • Enclosed shoes, smart casual wear

Frequency: Monthly on Fridays refer to the calendar

Course Fee:  $99.00

If you are directly employed, or previously been employed, in the Building and Construction industry in WA you may qualify for CTF funding which can significantly reduce your training costs.

Current industry standard is for this course to be updated every 3 years with the CPR component recommended to be updated every 12 months to remain current in skills (generally required if needed for your job i.e child care worker)
