Course Description:
A one-day training course for experienced and inexperienced operators. This course results in a High Risk Licence to perform Elevated Work Platform (EWP) operations under WorkSafe WA. This course covers all aspects of safe EWP operations and is delivered under the licensing requirements of Worksafe WA.

Course Content:

• Slings, harnesses and other personal protective equipment

• Hazard identification and risk controls

• Pre and post-operational checks

• EWP orientation

• EWP orientation (ground-controlled)

• Basic operation (basket controlled)

• Working at height

Unit of Competency:
TLILIC0005 - Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more)
Course Duration: - One day

Entry Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 18 Years Old
Have 1 Primary form of Identification on the day of the course- must be Valid Photo ID.
If you do not have Primary ID, you will need 3 x Valid Secondary ID
Enclosed shoes, long pants and a sleeved shirt are required. 
Sound verbal and written comprehension of the English language is mandatory


Course Delivery:
This course involves a Classroom-based theory component with practical training followed by a theoretical and practical assessment.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be PRE Reading material as a  requirement for this course which will be emailed at the time of booking.

Course Fee:  $380.00 (course only,  licence fee additional)

If you are directly employed, or previously been employed, in the Building and Construction industry in WA you may qualify for CTF funding which can significantly reduce your training costs.
