Chain of Responsibility overview

The Chain of Responsibility course is suitable for anyone working in the supply chain, including road freight consignors, receivers, loaders, and packers. The course covers the skills and knowledge required to identify, apply, and follow Chain of Responsibility legislation, regulations, and workplace procedures in relation to heavy vehicles as they apply to an individual’s job role. Participants will learn how to explain the chain of responsibility features, apply the requirements, and identify and report breaches in the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and regulations.

ONE DAY COURSE with prerequisite learning completed prior to course date

PLEASE NOTE:

As a requirement for this course, students must complete the prerequisite online learning before the course day. This can be accessed via the student portal.
Up to 1 hour of Pre-learning including knowledge assessments consisting of:

  • Online quizzes and interactive tools.

This course is delivered at the following location.

Hands-on training hub in Joondalup, Perth. Practical programs in construction, mining, civil, transport, and recruitment. Prepare for success.

This course includes the following accredited unit of competency:

  • TLIF0009 – Ensure the Safety of Transport Activities (Chain of Responsibility)
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old
  • Sound verbal and written comprehension of the English language is mandatory
  • Must have basic computer skills to enable access to the online learner portal and completion of pre-requisite learning
