This course is designed to equip participants with the basic skills to safely and effectively operate a Front End Loader in civil and mining settings. The front end loader is generally the next step up from operating a haul truck in these environments and is typically the next easiest machine to learn. The course includes both theoretical (online) and practical components, with practical training conducted at a limestone quarry site.

This course is delivered at the following locations. Practical training will be conducted at an external facility, with transportation for students to this location will be arranged by RMS.

This course includes the following accredited units of competency:
Doosan DL250 with a general-purpose bucket (20 tonnes)
Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments are available for both corporate clients and individuals. To complete a VOC, you must provide valid, documented evidence of the unit of competency being verified. For more information visit the VOC assessments information page.
