As a requirement for this course, students must complete the prerequisite online learning before the course day. This can be accessed via the student portal.
Up to 6 hours of Pre-learning including 5 focus videos and knowledge assessments consisting of:

  • Online quizzes and interactive tools.

This course is delivered at the following location.

Hands-on training hub in Joondalup, Perth. Practical programs in construction, mining, civil, transport, and recruitment. Prepare for success.

This course includes the following accredited units of competency:

  • RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights
  • RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined space
  • MSMWHS217 – Gas Test Atmospheres
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years old
  • Sound verbal and written comprehension of the English language is mandatory
  • Must have basic computer skills to enable access to the online learner portal and completion of pre-requisite learning
  • Enclosed shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt are required
  • Have 2 valid forms of identification on the day of training, one being a current photo ID

Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments are available for both corporate clients and individuals. To complete a VOC, you must provide valid, documented evidence of the unit of competency being verified. For more information visit the VOC assessments information page.
